i have submitted some private messages but they sit in my Outbox and never goto the Sent box. so they don't get sent, right? i did just join today, that affect it?

Well, I don't know about this site as I'm pretty new myself..however...I'm a member of several other online sites and if they work like the others I can say.....The other sites I'm a member of work like this:
When you send a message it will sit in your outbox until the recipient reads it. At that time it'll move to your sent box. But until they open it, it sits in your outbox. Someone correct me if that's not the way it works here. Oh, and spank me if I'm wrong! :twisted:
